The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Swimming Federation, Engineer Ahmed Al-Kodmani, crowned the Tunisian water polo team with the first international beach water polo championship cup and gold medals, after defeating the Kuwaiti Al-Qadisiyah team (6/11) in the final match of the championship organized by the Saudi Swimming Federation under direct supervision. From the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

Al-Qudmani explained that this international championship is organized by the Kingdom for the first time within the activities and programs of the Saudi Swimming Federation in terms of its objectives in spreading and developing water games, and within the strategy of the Ministry of Sports in the Kingdom to develop all the different games in an effort to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 with regard to various water games. its branches.

The coronation ceremony was attended by the Director of the Office of the Ministry of Sports in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Abdulaziz bin Aboud, the CEO of the Saudi Swimming Federation Abdullah Al-Yami, the Consul General of the Arab Republic of Tunisia, Habib Al-Ayyad, the Vice-Consul Muhammad Al-Qadidi, and the heads of the participating delegations.

It is noteworthy that the first international beach water polo tournament was organized by the Saudi Swimming Federation under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee over a period of 5 days in Jeddah, with the participation of the Saudi water polo teams (A, B), the Tunisian team, and the Kuwaiti Al-Qadisiyah Club.
