The number of patients under treatment for Kovid-19 in the country has come down to 14,832.
New Delhi. After 2,022 more people were found infected with the corona virus in India, the total number of epidemic cases increased to 4,31,38,393, while the number of patients under treatment has come down to 14,832.
According to the updated data of the Union Health Ministry till 8 am on Monday, the death toll has increased to 5,24,459 due to the loss of 46 more patients due to Kovid-19. At the same time, the number of patients under treatment has come down to 0.03 percent of the total cases of infection, while the national rate of recovery from Kovid-19 is 98.75 percent.
According to the data, a decrease of 123 cases was registered in the last 24 hours in the number of patients under treatment for Kovid-19. At the same time, the daily rate of infection was 0.69 percent, while the weekly rate was 0.49 percent.
According to the data, the number of people who have recovered from corona virus infection has increased to 4,25,99,102, while the death rate has been recorded at 1.22 percent. At the same time, 192.38 crore doses have been administered so far under the nationwide anti-COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
Significantly, on 7 August 2020, the number of patients infected with the corona virus in the country had exceeded 20 lakh, on 23 August 2020, 30 lakh and on 5 September 2020, more than 40 lakh. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November 2020.
On 19 December 2020, these cases had exceeded one crore in the country. Last year, on May 4, the number of infected had crossed 20 million and on June 23, 2021, it crossed 30 million. On January 26 this year, the cases had crossed four crores.
