Boiled rice – 2 bowls, onion (chopped) – 1, carrot (cut into small pieces) – 1, capsicum (chopped) – 1, potato (cut into small pieces) – 1, ginger paste – 1, tsp , Pavbhaji masala as per taste, 1 tbsp turmeric, half a teaspoon, salt – as per taste, red chili powder – 1/4 tsp, mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp, whole red chilli – 2, bay leaves – 1, lemon – half coriander
The recipe for making Masala Rice is as follows…
First heat oil in a pan, add red chillies, bay leaves, mustard seeds. After the sound of crackling the mustard, add chopped onion and fry till it turns pink, after this add ginger paste and fry it well. Then add pavbhaji masala, turmeric, salt and red chili powder, finely chopped potatoes, carrots and capsicum and cook it for 8-10.
After the vegetables are cooked, add rice to it and mix it well. Then squeeze lemon juice in it and add green coriander and serve hot pav bhaji rice. You will be asked to test it again and again.
