-2/3 cup rice
-1/3 moong dal
-3 1/2 water
-1/4 tsp turmeric
Salt according to taste
-4-5 cloves garlic
-1/4 tsp rye 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 4-5 curry leaves
-1/2 tsp red chilli powder
-1 tablespoon oil
The way to make Gujarati khichdi is as follows…
First of all, wash the lentils and rice several times with water and clean them. Put the pulse, rice, turmeric powder, salt and water in a pressure cooker on medium flame and cook till 4 whistles come. Put the oil in a pan on medium heat for heating.
