Health Tips: Consume these drinks to avoid the summer season

We are going to tell you about what you should drink to protect yourself from the ill effects of fizzy drinks to stay cool this summer.

1. Aam Panna

Prepared using raw mango, sugar, salt and spices. It is considered a good source of vitamins B1 and B2, niacin and vitamin C and is beneficial in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders.

2. Jaljeera

Made using tamarind pulp, mint leaves and water. A glass of Jaljeera will help you stay cool during summer and will also keep you away from digestive problems.

3. Thandai

This popular drink is mostly consumed during Holi. Milk is made using almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios, poppy seeds, sugar and rose petals. A chilled glass of thandai will give you a refreshing taste.

4. Sattu Sharbat

Another homegrown drink to help you beat the scorching heat, Sattu ka Sharbat is made from Sattu flour, sugar and water.

5. Buttermilk

Known as chaas in India, it is a yogurt based drink and a great digestive.

6. Lassi

This smooth yogurt-based drink that is good for your stomach, lassi can be in its classic form or in mint, avocado, mango or other varieties.

7. Coconut Water

Coconut water cools and fulfills the lack of water in the body. Rich in sodium and potassium, minerals that help balance fluids in the body, coconut water will provide instant energy to the body.

8. Sugarcane juice

A glass of sugarcane juice contains iron, calcium and electrolytes.
This summer refresher is great for rehydration.

9. Lemonade

Lemonade is easy to make and is prepared using mint leaves, lemon, sugar or/and salt and water.

10. Bael Juice

Bael fruit contains protein, beta-carotene, vitamins, thiamine, riboflavin and vitamin C. Extracted from the pulp of bael fruit, this natural drink is consumed with sugar or jaggery.

11. Watermelon Juice

Watermelon contains more than 90 percent water. Add a pinch of salt, mint or other spices to watermelon juice to stay hydrated and refreshed during summers.
