New Delhi. The total infection cases increased to 69,79,423 after 73,272 new cases of Kovid-19 in India in the last 24 hours while the death toll rose to 1,07,416 after the deaths of 926 more people.

So far, 59,88,822 people have become infection free and the rate of healthy people after infection has increased to 85.81 percent.
According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight o’clock on Saturday morning, after the death of 926 more people in the last 24 hours, the death toll has risen to 1,07,416.

The number of patients undergoing Corona virus infection for the second consecutive day in the country was less than nine lakhs. According to the data, there are 8,83,185 people undergoing treatment in the country, which is 12.65 percent of the total cases. The death rate of Kovid-19 in the country is 1.54 percent.
In India, cases of Kovid-19 had crossed 20 lakh on 7 August, 3 million on 23 August, 4 million on 5 September, 50 lakh on 16 September and 6 million on 28 September.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 8,57,98,698 samples of Kovid-19 have been tested in the country till October 9, of which 11,64,018 samples were tested on Friday. Of the 926 people who died in the last 24 hours, 302 in Maharashtra, 114 in Karnataka, 68 in Tamil Nadu, 62 in West Bengal, 62 in Uttar Pradesh, 39 in Delhi, 38 in Chhattisgarh, 32 in Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. 31 people died in

The Health Ministry said that more than 70 percent of the patients who died of infection were also suffering from other diseases.
