New Delhi. After 43,893 new cases of Kovid-19 in India, infection cases in the country increased to 79,990,322. At the same time, after the death of 508 more people, the death toll rose to 1,20,010. According to the latest data released at eight o’clock in the morning of the ministry, 72,59,590 people have become infection-free in the country so far and according to this the national rate of recovery from infection has gone up to 90.85 percent. The death rate from infection is 1.5 percent. According to this, this is the sixth consecutive day when the number of people under treatment remains below seven lakhs.
There are 6,110,83 people in the country undergoing corona virus infection, which is 7.64 percent of the total cases. In India, the number of infectives had crossed 2 million on 7 August, 3 million on 23 August and the number of infectives had crossed 4 million on 5 September. The cases had crossed 5 lakh on 16 September, 6 million on 28 September and 7 lakh on 11 October. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10,54,87,68000 samples of Kovid-19 were tested till October 27, of which 10,66,786 samples were tested only on Tuesday. (Agency)
